Looks like naked URLs break the highlight quote. I’ll link them in the future.
Maybe there should be the addition of a space at the end of the selection as the default behaviour.
ETA: that is me assuming because it happened to so many people that it was the highlight quote not the manual q/q's.Then I saw “before” footage last night and realised it was actually quite a large square building.
I haven’t looked at before images of the CTV building – I’m a little hesitant given how small the pile of rubble looks.

So, when disaster strikes, disable wifi and data networks while maintaining normal phone network on your phone, should keep the charge longer. Good to know.
And probably contact potential is more important than angry birds. -

We've definitely been looking around Wellington out the office windows and (apart from wondering how screwed we'll be) wondering just how an earthquake like ChCh had could result in less than tens of thousands of dead.

Oh that is more reassuring. There's definitely an upside to massively improved communications abilities, but it comes with a hefty downside of miscommunication.

God, rescue teams withdrawn from the CTV building apparently.
I saw that on twitter a couple of hours ago but had hoped it was (yet another) spurious rumour.
The 15 people alive via camera was such a good spot of hope :(
Anyone else reacting badly to police turning up? I caught myself going "oh god is that another notification".

Bob Parker was impressively collected and focussed on what matters when he appeared on the news again. F*cking awful that he had to be.
Can anyone tell me what was happening with the CTV building? Was it already condemned from September or something? Doesn't seem like they're talking about many people inside. Which would be great.
