Women's tennis? Were any New Zealanders involved? Sharapova? Kournikova? A Williams sister? Anyone deemed by the powers that be to be attractive? No? Give it 10 seconds then.

I caught the beginning of that, and the over-riding impression was that Worth had done nothing wrong, he wasn't used to r cut out for the political life, he was a captain of industry not used to having to double-check and think about his actions.

The continued running down of the Air New Zealand Cup and provincial rugby in New Zealand still doesn't end - this won't be good for grassroots rugby at all, but the the whole "Super" concept hasn't been good for that either.....
Let's concentrate even more money and emphasis on 5 teams, and ignore everyone else, that'll work.....

And the scary thing is, Mr Saatchi probably does think like this. -
Can we start a campaign for TV3 to can their 60 Minutes programme on this as well? I saw a promo for it last night that looked like a promo for a State of Origin match or something.
Full of "Veitch vs Dunne-Powell" and "What really happened?" and "The truth behind the headlines" captions, all over a firey background.
Some people really need to take a step back and think before they do things.

the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection
I remember seeing that in Auckland and being blown away by a LOT of it - especially how TINY the Dali was ("One Second Before Awakening from a Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate") - it' was literally only about A4 size
