Bottom one I think is native bachelor's buttons, possibly Cotula coronopifolia although there are many cotulas. :-)

The Chch Public Library announces the new Mobile Library Van service which will replace the Mobile Library Bus which will no longer be used.
They make it sound like an improvement, but the book-carrying capacity less than half that of the bus. And the vans are only available because Rotary kindly donated the money.
Rotary, you folk are wonderful, thank you!!! But why the hell is the CCC not funding us a new bus??
And here in Sumner the van is visiting for fewer hours, and they’ll still be parking it on the fucking Esplanade well away from the village where actual people go.
The librarians are wonderful, but WTF is up with the library management?? How many years do we have to wait for anything resembling a proper library service out here? When will we be told if our library is going to be rebuilt? Why can’t we have a temporary one in a prefab or container?
I’d really like an answer to some of these questions.
