Yes, it's very hard to generalize what works best. I think we have to get over even trying to do that, and take each case on its merits. Even if Corbyn did manage to mobilize more voters, snatch the election, that's not necessarily something that will work here.
Likewise, while it's true that the "right-wing noise machine" will attack Corbyn, it will be interesting to see whether it actually succeeds, and to what extent. It can be harder to drown out a single powerful signal than many smaller signals.

David Cunliffe was as far out as Corbyn.
What was his point?

pondered on just how our so called ‘centre left’ in Godzone are going to respond to this.
Ponder no longer:

Come for the refugee discussion, stay for the dick-waving contest!

btw, If you can Google it to work out that it's a misquote, that's just confirmation :-).

People are just making the assumption that he is a University student, for all we know he could be at high school.
That's what I'm feeling. 15 maybe? Thinking about my own writing style at that age, my own grasp of what evidence meant.
Can you guys even run a mile?
I would bet that I can outrun you, outfight you, and out philosophize you! If you can recognize that quote, you're probably old enough for here...Otherwise...give it up.

I don’t think you’ve quite got a full grip on what offering “quotes” and ‘evidence’ constitutes and necessitates.
Yeah, so much so that I think it's a bit mean to continue on the assumption that this is deliberate trolling. I actually think Daman is just someone who really is quite young and inexperienced at debate, but was trying good faith.
Is this the case Daman? How old are you? I don't want to be patronizing, maybe you're not young. The average age here is probably around 45 years old. Are these the people you wanted to have a discussion with?

If we convince enough people to allow more refugees here then we have helped. Conversely, if you convince people not to allow them then you haven't helped. You've blocked help. Why are you doing that?

Maybe we can first help these refugees learn English so their transition into the work force is easier.
I think that's a very good idea. So, lets start, by getting them here. Then we can teach them some English, the famously most effective way - complete language and cultural immersion. Tell me it didn't work for you?

Don’t mention the ‘Scottish Thread’!
Is this a patent that I see before me?
