Hope you took her Edward, put it this way, there are plenty of kids there younger than seven, and there were last year, when it was advertised as R18.
If she can cope with yellow fever she can cope with Roller Derby. I'm not a football regular, but I think my daughter has heard more offensive things at the couple of football matches she's been to - "Smeltzie, ya fucking homo" - than at Derby - "I wanna ravage Ms Savage". (I know the football comments are not indicative of the game or most of the fans).
Last night was a great first bout of the year, huge, some excellent first appearances, some great matchups, enough to and fro on the scoreboard, and - possibly best - an eventual crushing of Smash Malice.
Also, we saw little blue penguins on the way to the game, and some random science teachers releasing a tissue paper and cotton wool soaked in meths hot air balloon off the waterfront afterwards. Brilliant.

Yes, but they need to have an income. If you're no longer able to bring in visitors from out of town, many of them will close down and your rates will go up.
Really? Are you seriously arguing that the stadium will pay for itself by bringing in external visitors? Cos it really won't. There are decent reasons to build stadiums, but increasing your rating base is not one.

If you want more goals, make it 10 a side. Open it up a bit.

I think we must also add Brazil as one of the etc etc. 7-7, sorry.

Thanks Bart, appreciate your perspective.

Not to mention the theory that Anglo-Saxons don't do treachery. Slanderous! Admittedly we don't always do it well (see John Terry) but damn it, we'll give it our best shot.

Though not in our capital's paper of record, apparently.

If you don't want to represent minority interests, stick with FPP. If you do want to represent minority interests then you need to do so - even the interests of those minorities you don't like.

But most of all, solutions are necessary because the consequences of the theorised agw problem are so dramatic both in cost and impact, that we should be sure before we fail to move down that path. Climate change deniers have to prove their case comprehensively and completely, it is not up to climate scientists to prove the denial crowd is wrong. I don't have to do any homework doesn't cut it.
Edit: my vague attempt at an anti-James Bremner. Which doesn't really prove anything, except that such flat out statements are stupid (though I reckon mine is marginally less so).

These days they normally manage at least a token nice Muslim or Iraqi.
Don't get me wrong, there is one token Iraqi who I think you're s'posed to have some attachment to. But he's not an active character.
