Probably nothing to do with the upgrade, but iTunes won't let me subscribe to Public Address Radio podcasts. Can't find the server, apparrently, though it will let me download individual files!

Looks nice. I miss the 'last post' that takes you straight away to the most recent post. As it is now, I have to scroll to the bottom of the first page before I can click the 'last' button.

  • The end of the road West,

'Be Mine Tonight' was also Cheryl's song in Series 1, episode 4 - where she and Wolf danced at Billy's wake.

It's soaring and uplifting and seems to belong firmly to the world of the Wests.

  • The end of the road West,

Interesting fact: in Outrageous Fortune scripts, right up to quite close to the show going into production, Loretta was the narrator of OF. Loretta's blogging was the bookend structure the machinations of the plot hung off.

The network, quite rightly pointed out that such a device might become a bit tiresome after a while and it was dropped.

Loretta's blogs continued as an online delight on the OF website.

Has everyone forgotten that Judd's marriage to Monica ended after he had an affair with the wife of a criminal? This was pre-Cheryl.

    He's no saint!

  • Hard News: A few (more) words on The Hobbit,

My theory is that the do not work order was organised by MEAA Australia, and that AENZ were simply told that there's a lot of support for the cause in the form of some prominent international actors. Not that a full-on boycott had been put in place before any invitations to Peter Jackson for a cup of tea and a chat were extended.
