Side Show Bob has thrown his toys down in Christchurch. CCC is the second largest assisted housing provider after Housing NZ.

  • Hard News: They can see your house from here,

If anyone is interested in cycle-lanes and the abuse of a repeat offender parking on it might want to pop 88 Riccarton Road Christchurch in and see the repeat offender in action.

  • Hard News: They can see your house from here,

We've had a million dollars spent on making our street look prettier since the photo was taken last Christmas (advantage of having a Councillor in the Street ;)

  • Speaker: Database Nation,

When is a New Zealander not a New Zealander?

When they're a Somali Refugee who has had a NZ Passport for years, that's when.

Good old TV3 news last night had the very troubled women who holds a NZ Passport as a "Somali" and finished with the Korean born golfer Lee as a New Zealander and the ink isn't even dry on his Passport yet.

A little bit of the C word wouldn't go astray - Consistency I mean

  • Hard News: Just Friday,

I'm pretty sure the Press will want to stop their paper version and stay with an online version that they can continually edit.

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/thepress/4777829a24035.html

Online "Study finds gay men most at risk of HIV"
In print page A4 "Study finds gay men most at risk of HIV with one in 20 infected".

Yip their headline was 1 in 20 gay men infected with HIV!

Reading a bit further on it was 1 in 20, 30-49yr old men who came from a group of 200 gay men who go to sexual health clinics, FFS.

  • Hard News: Just Friday,

On Radio NZ (buggar their marketing), whos boyfriend did Noelle steal to get knocked off the air? Some Jurno student who still has their uni login to use turnitin ?

I don't think she passed any of the work off as her own, just starters for the afternoon chat, most of which were refferenced.

FFS bring her back, she's good for a giggle. Fave line was something about asking if her guest had read lolita, when being hit on by the dirty/hopeful old man while live on air.

  • Hard News: The smart thing to do,

A few nice turns of phrases here Tom, Deep, et al.

@James, NZ Rail (whatever they're called now) have stopped the disused line to be set up as a safe cycle path from Christchurch to Prebbleton & to connect to the cycle path to Lincoln.

As parking tickets are for revenue collection to improve public transport (at least that's the idea) the dear in Welly shouldn't have to pay here tickets as she's at home. Good luck to her.

The Air NZ LAX lounge is an oasis & I too gave a cheeky smile to get in there ;)

I've told this story before but the Polish High School Girl who had the entry visa for the USA while travelling to the home via LAX & LHR with her host family (NZ Dad is a Diplomat) was detained overnight and deported from the USA because she didn't have a transit visa. The entry visa is now the standard and is the better one incase of a flt delay. Go through SFO.
