With the house going to the Dems Democraticunderground.com just crashed :)
-
Missouri will be the new center of election fraud theory.... the current result is 13% away from the exit poll which had it +7 to dems. Is now -6.
-
Margin in TN is closing... it was 60k is now 40k.... and there will be a lot of absentee ballots to count.
VA lead is only 11,000 votes now.
And MO is favouring Democrats...only 6% counted.
-
CNN now has 9 seats gained by dems. 6 to go.
Oddly the CNN TV coverage is only reporting 7.
So web news is still best.

Ok... so is much clearer whats going on now
Dems have to win three and are presently losing three, Montana not reporting yet.
Actually has just started 1000 votes counted
The exit polls showed Montana, Missouri and VA going Dem hence the early euphoria. Montana and Missouri are presently headed republican way over the exit poll margin of error.
VA is very very close 30,000 votes out of 2 million counted.
Tennessee however looks like the racist George Allen has won. There is a great "George Allen Doesn't Like Black People" youtube video out there somewhere which everybody should watch.

Actually on another look at that page... is not at all encouraging for dem senate control at this stage... New Jersey and Tennesee both look ugly. Admittedly almost no votes in yet.....
Ohio on the other hand looks good for democrats.
... I am going to bail for a bit catch bus home and turn on the telly....
From the look of things the senate control issue ain't gonna be settled for some time yet.

Where its at IMHO
Missouri
Montana
Maryland
Tennesseehttp://edition.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/results/senate/
So far not really reporting cept missouri which is dead heat with almost nothing reported.
Connecticut... Leiberman... is incidentally behind at present. Would be nice if that lasted all night...

Not my circle jerk or echo chamber. Russell's home for serious discussion and considered argument.
As for your view that your views are majoritarian in the home of the brave the exit polls tend to indicate otherwise.
And if the NSA programme was legal then why did it explode in Bush's face so spectacularly?

Katherine Harris has lost senate bid in Florida...
Apparently Chris Matthews just announced loss on MSNBC...
So Harris and Blackwell.... Poetic Justice indeed...
