Speaker: How's that three strikes thing…, in reply to Peter Graham,
Would you be happier paying the same price and not getting channels you don't want to watch?
If the cable co says HBO is $20/month then I'd like them to sell it to me for $20/month. Not then turn around and say, "but you can only have it if you also buy this other stuff you don't want for $40/month". If they really mean HBO is $60/month and the other channels are free extras then yes, I'd rather they were upfront about that.

But until they do, are there many other reasons to pay for a 20G data plan?
Video chat/conferencing uses pretty substantial bandwidth. Skype’s recommendation for group video (http://support.skype.com/en-gb/faq/FA1417/How-much-bandwidth-does-Skype-need ) is 8.5Mbps for 7+ people, and that works out to nearly 4GB per hour. Even one on one video conferencing can be 0.5-1 GB per hour.

I can't believe no one has posted this yet. Is it just too obvious?

Apparently Tarantino wanted to use My Sharona for the gimp scene in Pulp Fiction. Here's how it might have gone:

Capture: Cats Love Cameras, in reply to Kate Hannah,
This is also the cat that would bring trophies (birds, lizards) to me while I was pregnant with all three – it was like he knew.
Our vet told me that cats often want to be close to pregnant women because they can hear the extra heart beat, so he probably did know.

Another Maine Coon trait is the seasonal variation in their coat. Here’s Odin in summer mode.
Edit: oops, sorry for the bad rotation. Is there any way to fix it?I am so going to get a Maine Coon when I head over the hill – they’re not great birders (which was what, among other virtues, attracted me to them) but they are death for rodents.
Odin does catch birds occasionally, though his favourite prey is insects – cicadas, crickets, and outdoor cockroaches. He hasn’t caught a lot of mice, possibly there aren’t many around here. He’s not a great climber, I think his size (he’s skinny and still weighs 7kg) and high centre of gravity due to his long legs makes him less agile than many cats. He’s a powerful jumper though.
Being show cats Maine Coons are bred for personality as well as looks and are generally extremely good natured. They are usually not lap cats, as their large size can make it difficult for them to get comfortable on a lap, but they love to be near you.

Our big Maine Coon, Odin.
