To any readers who would like to read an alternate review (I won't dare characterise it as to political right-ness or left-ness!) I suggest:

We'll make this easier soon, but until then get in touch with Russell directly.

Cheers, no problem.

Some feedback on PA/system:
"Only Public Address System moderators may start new topics in this forum."
Q: So how do you suggest a new topic to a moderator?

Reason is, I thought some readers might be interested in a discussion on truth in blogs: (http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/11/17/1951256), titled: 'When Blog Networks Make News, Silence Abounds.'

for those geek readers who appreciate quips.

along with Cath Tizard poo pooing resistance to the waterfront with "its just like the comments against the aotea cetre when it was proposed" doean't exactly fill me with confidence given the cost overruns and current state of the carpark.

Yeah, right. Bearing in mind that the Aotea Centre is perhaps the worst botchup in the City Council's history. Bloody appalling acoustics and the Herald Theatre is a disgrace.

What seems odd about all of the politicking is not only the startling absence of Carlaw Park from the pro/con discussions (officially dismissed, for some unstated reason) but also the tank farm, which seems to be a spot which would satisfy the most important criteria and have least negative impact.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I wanted to praise Arts and Letters Daily -- despite the sometimes mad ravings of its progenitor, it does (or did, I haven't been there for a while) manage to show how to get a whale of a lot of info onto a page, without flashy tricks, and yet in a way which clearly appealed strongly to the target audience.
