From the perspective of wanting heads to roll … it’s all very well demanding heads to roll at MAF/MPI but that doesn’t take into account the tremendous pressure that the businesses involved put on MAF/MPI.
Fair enough, and thanks for the perspective. I wasn't really demanding that heads roll, so much as noting the difference between responses to the Work & Income and ACC stories, and that around MAF and kiwifruit.

I miss the stuff that isn’t in that clip – particularly David talking about Colin Craig, but it does show the enormous amount of fun we had doing it.
Yeah, it does look and sound fun, doesn't it? I'm glad about that. Notwithstanding the slightly sulky note in the text about how "some" were disappointed that we didn't explore the wider theological dimensions of Lust. I dunno, we held the happy attention of 700 people (their biggest audience ever) for for an hour. That'll do me.

I’ve been trying to go and see the live version of this but as it’s been sold out for months, meaning only day tickets are available and I’m not able to queue at 9.30am every morning to try and get the handful of these that are released, I’ll probably also be watching it on film. Better than nothing.
Wow. It'd be interesting watching it live or near-live in a cinema, though -- would it it feel different?
Russell, in terms of quality, it really depends a huge amount on the style of the show; I suspect more naturalistic shows work better. I saw The Habit of Art and it was just fine.
It's mostly the lighting in the case of The Dog in the Night-Time, reflecting the limits of video capture and projection. If you were making it for TV you'd light the blazes out of it, but obviously that doesn't work in the theatre. I thought the actual direction of the pictures was great.
