Oh Russell. That Esther Phillips remix is funkaLICIOUS.
It's actually only a re-edit, so the sounds you hear are the sounds on the 1976 album -- it's just restructured and remastered.
It's an incredible track -- and the lyrics (about drug addiction and temptation) are compelling too. I need to go on an Esther Phillips mission.

I couldn’t say for certain, but I feel bad right now for some of the government IT and IS people I know who are really smart and careful at what they do with regard to information and network security
The ones I know -- and there are quite a few, including members of the community here -- are exactly as you say: smart and careful. They are principled people.
But late today, the Ministry of Justice announced it was shutting down its own kiosks on security grounds . I think there is a story to be told yet.

Edit: Actually, SMC manager Peter Griffin is an IT journalist himself. Perhaps them extending their area of competence would be the smartest way to achieve this.

“Don’t trust other journos to write a story your way” is probably good advice.
I don’t think Keith is obliged to sit there quietly when a journalist grossly abuses a commentator he has directed them to. HDPA has basically written that story to imply that Paul Craig is a criminal suspect. She simply has no idea what she’s on about.
Gower fell for a fanciful story and was dismissive of Keith when Keith pointed out how unlikely it was – then corrected himself two months later without acknowledging he’d been told his story was wrong back in February. Keith is perfectly entitled to point this out.
