Righto: this pretty much looks like a war.
3 News has a “breaking” announcement from the Auckland Council of a main game Warriors screening on Captain Cook Wharf, and a separate event at Mt Smart, where the Vulcans and U20 finals will be shown too,
And APNZ/Herald has unnamed government officials making the same announcement.
But here’s the thing. The RWC Empowering Act really only gave the minister the power to seek consents before the council did, and thus push its spokesman to the front. It has no power whatsoever to mandate the use of Mt Smart Stadium, which is owned by the Auckland Council – least of all with respect to a sport which is not rugby union. This is fucking nuts.

LegBreak, agreed. McCaw would’ve been honoured by Hobbs being the person to award him the cap.
I was actually wondering how Richie was keeping it together for a while there. When Hobbs paid testament to him as a man, I was tearing up.

Arguably, and that in itself makes your statement false. Lying about what condoms do isn't helpful.
As noted, everyone should be careful with language in this thread. I know you're not calling Lucy a liar, and I'm really appreciating your contribution, but perhaps "lying" isn't the best word to be using in a reply.

Actually, he’s just mad keen on League (and remember Helen was patron of Mt Albert for as long as I can remember so certainly no late comer).
Oh, indeed. Clark’s patronage of the club meant she had much stronger ties to league than union.
I seem to recall certain sorts of blog commenter trying to use her obvious affection for rugby league to depict her as some sort of traitor who didn’t like the All Blacks.

On the other hand, I've heard from a lot of guys who also haven't made the connection between sometimes ejaculation is amazing and sometimes it's a bit of a let-down. It's definitely not just women who don't connect those dots.
Have you ever experienced it the other way around? Had an orgasm without ejaculating? That's pleasant, if a tad confusing.

But if we’d all come from outside that part of town, then you could have ended up walking to Eden Park a very long way round.
I rescued an Australian mum and kids from walking in exactly the wrong direction for Dominion Road afterwards.

I found men much less likely to have those issues than women, despite the myths about women being better communicators. Many women operated on really narrow views of male sexuality and weren’t open to learning, while most of the men I’ve had sex with are more “what does it for you”.
That's a shame, although I can see that the men might have had more of a feel for where you were at with it. You did deserve to be heard.

Field Theory: Rugby World Cup stories, in reply to
Granted the opposition were immense, but that was just one of those weird experiences where it felt like we could park ourselves on the opposition line for days a time with 90% of possession without ever looking like winning a penalty or breaching their line. Just the weirdest game ever.
It really, really was. It will be a long time before we see a test where one team completely dominates every statistic, plays all the rugby and can't even get a penalty out of the ref.

Wait, wait, there’s a LAST train? As in “and then no more ‘trains’?”
Excuse me while I just have a quick panic.
There’s another one in the morning. It’s a lovely trip at that time of day.
