Because they went with Ingram?

I didn't see very much of it (never a whole episode), but their interview with Prince William had an excellent Clarke and Dawe vibe going (I happened to get it for Christmas):
I've caught @seven a couple of times. Didn't quite hold my attention enough.
I do however like that TV3 seems to be working hard to put our NZ comedic talent on TV. I thoroughly enjoyed Seven Days, Jacquie Brown Diaries is good. They're not going to score with every show, but someone in TV3 and the production companies deserve a gold star for trying and coming up with some good stuff.

It's clear that Beyonce is not actually human at all
Apparently there are also rules about the two sides of her top not joining together above her navel.

At what point does the alleged rape victim get a representative that actually does do everything they can to prove the case?
Not in terms of prosecuting the case that I'm aware of. Victim Support, Rape Crisis etc will sometimes provide support people to help rape victims get through trials, but they don't have legal standing.

But that's the difficulty: you are asserting that prostitutes consent, while the counter-argument is that the consent is given under duress and not particularly meaningful. You can't settle it by referring back to the consent unless you want to chuck out duress* altogether.
I think you've transferred the duress of a person being poor, to the person buying sex. Which may be valid if the person buying sex also the person that made you poor (ie, a pimp), but normally won't be.
The fact that person A has money, and person B needs money, doesn't mean person A is applying duress to person B. The problem in the equation is that person B doesn't have money, not that person A is willing to pay for sex. Unless they're lying or complete fools, there are plenty of sex workers who publicly state that they do that job because they enjoy it, or enjoy the money, lifestyle etc. Who are we to tell them they're wrong and are all under duress?

first heard on Glee (cough Single Ladies cough)
I had to look that up.
I couldn't stop thinking "those three women don't appear to have human hips and waists".

Don't the NZ Police use discression and not charge if say the kids are of similar age?
I forget the details, but I think in the 14 - 16 age group range, they assess the relative ages, relationship, nature of the encounter, and then consider what to do.
So if you're 15 and having sex with your partner who is a similar age to you, they'll ignore that.
If you're 25 and having sex with a 15 year old... not so much.

Hugh Grant 'help[s] Marcus to fit into the modern adolescent world by taking him shopping to buy shoes.' As a consequence of his newly found fashion sense, he becomes friends with the cool kids at school. All ends happily.
That's not even an accurate summation of the movie. His shoes get stolen by the other kids as soon as he wears them to school.
It's his dorky attraction to the frightening, punk-y alternative girl and his performance with Hugh Grant that gets him ahead in life.

I don't know what to think about this scene in Glee last week with the Deaf choir. Is it tokenistic?
I can normally accept silly cheesy emotional heart-string pulling, but even that was too much for me. Not a Glee watcher however, so maybe it fits in context better.

Onto the central point ... the argument - that prisoners who can't ever be paroled have no reason not to kill guards - sounds plausible in theory, but does it stack up?
You'd imagine that those prisoners that are looking ahead at the rest of their natural life in jail, are probably likely to be less well behaved than those that have parole hearings to think of.
While future punishment is a limited deterrant to serious crime, it would be interesting to learn if "there's nothing more they can do to me" leads to more crime - against guards, other prisoners etc.
If I'm in jail until I die, then there's no real downside to performing a hit on a fellow prisoner or working my butt off to deal drugs, particularly if there's benefits for my family or gang on the outside. What are they going to do? Extend my sentence to 75 years after I die, like Mickey Mouse?
