I coach an under 13 club team, and we give all our players equal time on the ice.
That being said, the team hasn't come close to losing a game in three seasons - 50 straight wins - so it's not a decision we've ever had to worry about too much.
At the rep level, we put some kids out more than others. At the age of 12 I think they're starting to take it seriously enough that they can be motivated each time by wanting to earn more time by how they play.
I wouldn't do it with under 10s though. At that age, I'd give every kid equal time no matter what. Different goals for different ages.

I also doubt there's any coincidence between the density of liquor outlets in a locality, and the likelihood of civil unrest, if Detroit in 1967 and South Central L.A. in 1965 & 1992 are anything to go by.
Those are all complex issues however. Police like to tag liquor outlets as the problem when they appear before a LLA hearing, but in terms of the three incidents that you've listed you can say a lot more about unemployment, race, the police, even the seasons (60s America was noted for having riots over the long hot summers) than about how many liquor outlets were stacked up next to each other.

Trying to work out how this fits in with the 'orgasm denial' theory....
I didn't watch it, but it sounded more like a quick shag (Cameron got screwed maybe?).

Every Montreal Canadiens game is broadcast on TV in French only.
Some Canadiens games are also broadcast in English on CBC. They'll also be broadcast by the other team's provider in English for all games.

The fact is that the Maori TV bid for the RWC will disenfranchise many kiwis.
I don't think disenfranchise means what you think it does. Unless 'seeing the RWC for free' somehow got inserted into the Bill of Rights Act when I wasn't looking.
Aside from the dodginess of the funding that Russell has pointed out, I don't have too much of a problem with it being on MTS. I've caught a few of their Breaker games which have some te reo, and it's literally them having 'word of the period' such as defence, shoot, steal, rebound etc. Never felt very meaningful to me, but certainly doesn't interfere with your ability to follow the commentary.
And I think some sort of national right to view rugby games is an outdated concept. NZ has moved on and is now a more diverse society. We're not going to get to see either of the next summer and winter olympics without having Sky. 15% of the population having to shell out a few hundred for a freeview box doesn't seem so harsh, it's just an advance on digital shutoff anyway.

But in fact the attack was of very limited value militarily - the four battleships they sunk were elderly, and two were salvaged. The real assets - the aircraft carriers - were out of port at the time.
Yup. But the Japanese plan was to catch the carriers there and destroy them.
If they'd been successful at that, Midway would have looked a lot different.

The Japanese were delusional that they could ever win WW2. Had they acted rationally, they could have achieved most of their war aims by attacking the British and Dutch empires and leaving the US alone until they had occupied those territories (including possibly NZ and northern Australia). Fortunately, they didn't.
One suspects it was a trade off between doing that, and having the Americans eventually declare war on them anyway, once they got to somewhere like Australia, and having a go at destroying the Pacific Fleet, which they got most of in one bang.
As someone pointed out, while Pearl Harbour smashed the camel's back, things were heading in that direction anyway.

I'm not saying that Munich was the right thing to do, but the decision was understandable.
Yes, there's a strong thread that says the delay enabled the UK to bring their navy and airforce into the 20th century. Not something Germany had to do of course, their navy and air force were largely dismantled after Versaille.
Imagine the Battle of Britain without Spitfires and Hurricanes for example. Probably not so happy.

You'd have to be pretty talented to sell tickets to the weigh in.
At $145/seat, you'd be a fucking genius to sell them. And no doubt they have.
The programme for the event is great:
PROGRAMME
[various pre-fights etc]
10:15 FIGHT OF THE CENTURY
* Heavyweight 12 x 3 minute rounds
* David "Tuaminator" Tua V Shane "Mountain Warrior" Cameron
* Winners Belt Presentation
* Tea and Coffee
11:30 EVENING CONCLUDESTea and Coffee? Are we doing boxing or cricket? Cucumber sandwiches?
I'm not really a fan of sports which are solely about violence, but if I did, I'd want them to have one world champion per weight grade, not... I lose track. At least three from what I heard on TV. Get a proper international body and run your sport with at least 10% integrity (90% money)!

(although "Big Lollies" doesn't have the same ring to it).
Actually big lollies sounds like a marketing dream... for them. Maybe "big sugar"?
