Pretty much this exact thought went through my head, but I didn't want to say it.
That's because you didn't want to highlight the fact that your red coat makes you a Man U supporter.
(I'm trying to change the trend from 'all threads revert to the copyright thread', to 'all threads become field theory'.)

I have a long grey 1940s Great Coat, also wool and made in Germany. It's beautiful and warm and gets me a lot of comments, but the damn thing weighs a tonne, so it has to be pretty cold for me to wear it.
This indicates that you, like the entire F1 racing industry, supports Hitler. Just to make you aware.

After reading this I had to scroll back to the top to re-read the title.
Took me a couple of seconds, but I clicked.

Given that that's what money is anyway, that's not too much difference.
But normally money is an IOU given out when there's actually something to back it up.
In this case it's an IOU given out because the state doesn't have anything to back it up.

No one made you all read it
I care not either way about the original blog, but as Giovanni pointed out, we read it because you posted it, and PA is that place we feel we can trust like that.

The people are exactly the silly arseholes I'm talking about. But for all of the current problems of California, the system being decried here as though it were a serious criticism of direct democracy rather than a cherry picking farce, is the exact same system that also made California incredibly rich and desirable in the first place. Which it will continue to be when the dust settles.
I suspect climate, location, illegal immigrants, and Hollywood had a bit more to do with making California rich and desirable than their referenda system.

Seriously. I have been asking this question for years.
Why *don't* they?
I believe it has something to do with three sets being long enough to check them all out and put them on TV looking scrummy, and it frees up time on the courts for men to play the 'real tennis'. Not that many people in tennis will admit it - there were hints of it last week though at Wimbledon with the womens top seeds being put on the outside courts while some attractive lower seeds were moved into the limelight.

The question he was asked was "Who is your favourite fascist dictator?" WTF was he supposed to say?
Mussolini is too obvious, too 'supporting ferrari' for someone who should be representing the whole organisation.
Clearly General Franco was the best answer.

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of the recent promo for Close Up where Henry, in his angry voice, said "I'll demand answers"? (of the police about why a guy in a wheelchair was allowed guns). I really want that sound clip.
Don't have it, but saw it at girlfriend's. Talk about being inspired to change channels.

So I can put you on the organising committee then?
Beer + Friday afternoon. How big a committee do you need?
