It was Brad Thorn (as his starting partner) for every game except South Africa in Dunedin and against Scotland. Both times other partner was Boric
AH-HA! Mystery solved.
He went off injured in the English ChCh test and the SA Dunedin match.Don't ask me for the reason for the dip in the Eden Park match :/

I can see that would apply to a lot of fringe sports like motor racing, golf etc..
Two of the top five most watched sports in the world there...

The New Zealand Scrabble team is considering calling themselves 'The Allphabets'. No joke.

Hadyn, I'm lazy.
Do you know who was William's partner for those matches? I've noticed he seems to take a different role depending on whether Boric or Thorn is on the field. -
I'd rather sit in the viaduct and drink.
The boat can do the whole 'break up and sink thing' perfectly well on its own. -
In New Zealand it's really a formula isn't it?
Close, but I'm gonna have to mention Black Beauty and Team Kiwi Racing. :)

I'm still stuck at why the teams aren't called just Auckland, Wellington, etc.
Because the natives in Northland, Palmerston North, Levin, Invercargill, Nelson, Blenheim etc. kicked up a fuss.
Here's an interesting bit of trivia...
Damn it, I actually rubbed my hands together with glee and was about to type the exact same things.
The Black Cocks wasn't it?

I knew we shouldn't have let go of Jerry.

Tracey has just put up the stats.
Ok so let's all adore McCaw for his work-rate... But I'm focusing on Carter.
13 tackles + 3 assists and 2 misses, presumably most on O'Gara... Not bad I think.
