In places such as these, (the title), it seems only appropriate to show our honorary cat, Stella’s, honorary kitten friend.
This is Friday. I met him last Friday. He is 11 weeks old and just too cute for any more words.

So many important and wonderful things have been done here by ordinary people with initiative.

I actually think if it just was left up to the citizens to decide Chch's outcome, a helluva lot more would have been achieved by now.

And Capture, I rather wish I’d been at the Sumner event instead, but you have to see these things through.

I think if I was down there, it would be necessary for me to be out protesting.I can't stand the way Cantabs are being treated by the Government/Insurance rip off.
But yes, the Sumner event looks bright and cheerfulish.

You should not be worrying about that Hebe, you should just approach Labour anyway. Point out why you have concerns about approaching them. Be honest, but you don't need to worry about where Labour are at. Labour are in the opposition. Remind them of your views by all means.Start firing off emails.

Can not Mike Coleman continue to advocate for the ordinary people by setting up another branch as it were and starting fresh with say advocates like you Joe. There must be a large group out there in need.Maybe even approach Dyson,Dalziel and Cosgrove to highlight the emerging issues raised here. As they say Kia Kaha.

As an aside, it's kinda cute you jumped to this capture thread from t'other capture thread, when it got threadjacked once before by mistake. The hardest thing being, there is politics in everthing, even images, eh? {:)

Well, I think all the photos are great. Nice that the knitting came from all over the world.Certainly cheerful. I am left with a twinge of sadness with the reality of the protest that must still continue in order to sort out the insurance rip off. Gudren, what powerful images. "Nothing left to give" protester suggests it really is affecting everybody. I also like the group photo, "Insurance Fraud" with the cop fading into insignificance in the background.
Lilith, if you had a watermark like Gudren, could we have more from you, now or in the future? { ;)
