    Dubai, at night,

Palm Jumeira. I should have mentioned further back that the photo of the Hotel was at the tip of the Palm island. This is on the way back emerging from the underground tunnel that lead us to the ginormous Hotel. Not a great photo but we was going pretty fast along the freeway. Overhead is a monorail line which was still being developed but what was up and running was a beautiful design. Everything feels efficient (for the wealthy)

Yes, it's an attractive building, no matter what time of day or night. :)

Well, it would’ve been early evening NZDT when I was driving in fruitless circles.

Although I have to say to be fair to Armstrong, that the superficial stuff he sings the praises of in Key are very much the strong cards in Key’s hand and a major part of his ongoing success,

Of course. Accentuate the positive and forgetabout any negatives and everything comes up smelling of roses. How could anyone think that nice Mr Key doesn't have concerns for fellow kiwis? For $324000.00, he now knows his moonbeam should purr happily because he is around and yes his wife believes whatever he says. Being relaxed about that, he probably knows all that after a bit of yoga and a prayer. And why would any redundant workers think he is anything but a chilled out guy. Bet they all aspire to be just like him. Such cheap advice. Did Shipley have anything to do with it, she's a bargain.
    Now I need a bucket. ;)

I can't find a way to even email Len Brown, other than filling out a form of complaint and they will get back to you next week. I'm going to go down to the rally in Britomart on Saturday and see what the watersiders have to say.

    gone for good.

Mean while Nurses, Caregivers, Meat Workers, and it is suggested Public service, with Police on the horizon. The wharfies are only lucky in that the world's wharfies supports them. As in the states, we will begin to see Tent cities of the working homeless. Contracted out employment is no job security. It can be on a daily basis that you have work. Nek minit... :(

Thanks for that link. A petition is there if anyone is interested. A piece of my Auckland heart breaks off every day and I will blame this Government and it's ways. Is the protest up Q street this weekend?
