Whilst I empathize with Warburton and wouldn't have wanted to be in his shoes, he is the captain and is fully versed on the responsibilities that the position entails. This wont be the first time he's been bitterly disappointed by a particular result and I would suggest that one of the qualities that makes him a captain is that he is able to keep his wits about him under the most intense pressure.
Having said that, an umbrella would have been nice, at the least.

Hard News: London's Burning, in reply to Islander,
Maori deaths in custody -uncommon, like other groups’ deaths in custody here.
It still happens too often, especially since most of the deaths in custody here in recent years have been young people. Any death in custody is inexcusable, let alone 300-odd in 12 years.

Hard News: London's Burning, in reply to Rich Lock,
How exactly does one die in custody from alcohol/drug abuse?
By throwing up in their own throat in an unmonitored cell and suffocating on it.
Does that answer your question?
Not really. Your explanation implies that all the overdose deaths in custody occur within 12-24 hours of being caught, and I dont think that is the case.

Frankly, the merger of National Archives & Library and the DIA stinks of the heavy hand of increased government surveillance.

Easier to not be a Switched on Gardener
Someone needs to write a book on that travesty - the 'inside' story.

Hard News: Perception and reality in the…, in reply to Russell Brown,
We should ask ourselves, what causes greater harm to the community - the bar or the pot-den? Seems to me the small number of people he sold pot to would have a much smaller social cost than the thousands who would theoretically frequent his bar.

Two years jail for a personal stash of coke and some bud is waaaaay over the top - especially for a 60yr old guy!
