Yeah good report indeed - is this being released on DVD do you think? I would hope so.

Fantastic work, Russell (et al). It seemed inevitable, but I am thoroughly looking forward to Public Address Radio.

Denied... Seems they've blocked overseas IPs or something now - none of the FLVs load. Says they are forbidden. Gosh darn it.

Gosh darn it. Now every FLV (ad or program) is throwing up

It's actually easier than that ...
Safari's Activity/Firefox's Page Info windows?

I've only watched one yet, but the Radio With Pictures about the Chills in England is 17 minutes long but is actually two of the same 8-odd minute segments one after the other. Oops!
Still, loving it :)

Too true Russell: its really gonna be a let down when it finally comes out.

Wow, the classics line-up is pretty sweet. Massive kudos to TVNZ for that, if nothing else.
I can't wait till the BBC pulls this off with iPlayer.

I'm willing to be told I'm wrong, but isn't it true that Knox used to self-harm whilst on stage around that sort of time?
I can't think which is more extreme rock'n'roll - cutting yourself on stage, or eating beetroot on stage!

What I would truly like to see from the Flying Nun catalogue is some inventive, smart compiling. Thematic releases...
I wholeheartedly agree - but as Andrew Dubber and many others would testify, CD is not the right medium for this. Having the whole catalogue online enables the label to create such playlists, and include any artwork and tags they like, with the author talking about why they chose tracks - much like iTunes' Celebrity Playlists already do.
I totally agree though, Flying Nun is a perfect example for the potential of the long tail and online distribution.
