It comes down to semantics - "he didn't spend the money" & " it wasn't for his benefit".
It is a non issue.
I do, however, have a problem with his Helicopter use.

I would have to know, before I could comment, what was the basis of her doing it and how and why Wellington Council approved the expenditure.
It does read like a media fishslapping contest.

The minimum wage needs a lift – it is the best way to boost an economy that has been mismanaged along the lines of a wait and see approach on the basis that it can’t stay bad forever.
Nationally one in every five children lives in an impoverished household.
Have you seen the just-released Green Party policy to tackle this?

So the Nats think encouraging KiwiSaver is worth considering. I'm actually glad they're doing this, because it makes fucking sense. Pity Labour didn't have the guts to get there first, and now coming out with a better scheme is behind the 8-ball. But I think that the CGT move might have forced this out of the Nats.

I believe I posted this on an inferior site not long ago.
I'm predicting 12% for the Greens this time, level by 2014 and that they will lead the government after the 2017 election unless the Nats (by then incorporating ACT) work out an ingenious way to steal it.
