  • Raymond A Francis,

    That is soooo good
And the best argument I have ever heard for state sponorship of political parties

I have always been strongly against that as I feel feeding them it only encourages the buggers

But that tape quite rightly does make it sound so sleezy

Nice one cheered me up no end, laughed out loud as I sit here writing my dad's eulogy

Really? My view has always been to subside clowns by occasional visits to the circus, but that's just me...

  • FletcherB,

What I liked about that was not so much the sleazy or begging aspect, but just Bob's response....

I wish that I was in a financial position where giving someone annoying you over a couple of drinks a mere $25k instead of the $50k+ they were pestering you for seemed like a reasonable "just leave me alone"...

Me? If you make a really excellent tit of yourself, and genuinely harass me... I might give you $5 to piss off.... but you'd have to be world class to get that much.

Nah, just ban donations of over $20. S/he with the most supporters wins.
