Answer: draw......what just draw? I don't know if I can agree to your terms, you must specify a start and stop time otherwise I could be being paid $20 to draw indefinitely. 9:16 am, Thu 11 Jun

Sounds like what sceptics of affirmative action like to call the "model minority" stereotype. From my own experiences as a multi-gen Chiwi, the aforementioned stereotype is a heap of bullshit. It's been fisked to death by various researchers - maybe Keith Ng has some wisdom here - and it was severely tested during LA92.

  • Sacha,

I'm sure there's a cure for that, Giovanni.

Thank you Mr Slack for your fine company last night.

  • David Slack,

Sacha, likewise, and thanks: you have jogged my memory, and I have just gone online to The Mill. That is a staggeringly good price for the Laphroaig. Credit card at the ready....

UPDATE: That's it? You just tick a box swearing that you're 18? I love this dubdubdub web.

Credit to Mr Revington for jogging that particular memory.

Until recently you need to use a credit card, for which you have to be 18 (or have very rich and trusting parents)

Often the billing/delivery address needs to match the credit card address too.

  • Wammo,

Blimey that is cheap Laphroaig. Was going to pick up a single malt through duty free later this month but none of them come close to $55 including delivery.

Surely the advent of Debit Plus cards circumvents this? Or do you have to be 18 to sign up for one?

  • JP Hansen,

Laphroaig - that's the stuff that tastes like bicycle inner tubes, right?

    Bicycle inner tubes. MMMMM.

Peaty inner tubes soaked in oak barrels, at that..

  • Mark Easterbrook,

Mmmm...I've got a Laphroaig tucked away in the cupboard at home. I wonder what's an excusable time to slip away from work today?

Nice to chat with you briefly last night Mr Slack, and I raise my (not yet in hand) glass to your (re)visionary history of our Glorious Cycleway.

  • JackElder,

I can't be the only person to get all happy at the smell of a fresh inner tube. I buy them in bulk, 10 at a time, and when you first open that plastic wrapper and the smell of rubber hits you... it's like the smell of fun.

Laphroaig's a bit more peaty, though.

  • JackElder,

Oh, and a question: is that price on Laphroaig online only, or do they have it instore? Might be worth me popping out to Porirua tomorrow if they've got it on the shelves.

  • samuel walker,

I expect we will not be seeing
    much more of you
    After Saturday.

Does no one remember what happened with John Banks. Everyone will assume the result is a given, wont bother voting, Ms Lee's small following will grab victory.

i hope i'm wrong, kinda funny if i'm not.
