  • Russell Brown,

That's not a hot French newsreader ... this is a hot French newsreader.

  • Danielle,

We were also accosted in les Halles by Romanians purporting to be mute and deaf and raising money for their school.

Ah! They were in Barcelona in April. They get around!

  • Robyn Gallagher,

Madamoiselle Hot French Newsreader that Russell linked to is wearing sleeveless tops in a few photos, which you never see newsreaders wear on New Zealand telly.

Ages ago I saw a woman auditioning for a newsreading role, and she was wearing a pretty sundress that exposed her shoulders.

It would have looked ordinary on the street, but seeing it in the formal environment of a TV studio, it looked absolutely porno. She didn't get the job.

  • Paul Litterick,

    Those sleeveless tops, so unprofessional.

Excuse me while I look at those photographs again.

  • Russell Brown,

Just for Paul, here is the video reel that made Mme. Theuriau world famous on the internet before she was even famous in France.

  • Heather Gaye,

Yeah, I noted the shoulders; more here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/vedia/sets/530783/ Quite a bit of decolletage, not to mention a basketball singlet & some rather brightly coloured leather/vinyl jackets.

The owner of that flickr account has chosen more than a few pornface shots.

I love the photos are the ones with her and her co-anchor - an old balding tubby guy in a suit.

Yeah, that's TV3 Weathergirl Territory. But that teal embroidered top with the flowers and the plunging cleavage, t hat's pretty, I want that.

  • Paul Litterick,

Mme Theuriau has derailed this thread, in the most delightful way. I think we are forgetting Audrey Pulvar.

  • InternationalObserver,

Methinks RB has revealed just a little too much about himself here. A little too quick with those links methinks, possibly sitting right there on his 'Favourites', eh? Eh?

As I posted elsewhere the other day, I just want a Newsreader, not a NILF. But yes, she is attractive -- and if I could speak/understand French I'd be able to tell if she could actually read the news as well!!

During my extended sojourn in Italy & France last year I saw first hand how many very attractive young women were fronting TV shows -- often paired with much older men. The men ranged from 'silver foxes' to 'hoary old goats'.

  • Skinny,

TVNZ now has Pippa Wetzell (young and moderately attractive, or compared to Kaye Gregory, a stunner) and Paul Henry (older, shorter, and slightly squashed).

    I'm moving to France!

  • jon_knox,

Inside every chubby Londoner there may well be a svelte and stylishly-dressed Parisian wanting to get out, but I have my doubts.

I have my doubts too. In some cases I think there is more than one svelte Parisian waiting to get out.

You should see the cranes on the UK skyline.

I can and have just counted 61 of them on the horizon from a flat in North London . Sadly I cannot tell you if this is a low, average or high figure.
