always sends shivers down my spine…)Yes, and since you brought it up, Jeff Buckley did a pretty awesome version of Kangaroo too. The This Mortal Coil connection is how he met Liz Fraser, AFAIK, where they made the formally infamous song All Flowers In Time.
Although some say Big Star did a reasonable job of Kangaroo.
