  • merc,

    Teh bible,
    Matt. 10:34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
    35 For I have come to set a man against his father,
    and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
    36 and one’s foes will be members of one’s own household. 37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38 and whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.

  • merc,

    I can highly recommend Aeon and Answer To Job, by Carl Jung. McCahon also painting Christ's last words, however they differ, because according to John, Christ did not say, "Father, why hast thou foresaken me." He said, "It is over."

  • merc,

    You are staring to communicate in little parses Agent R, but I can read you mind...yes I have an associate of far greater erudition and talent than myself, he is Werner and I am Klaus, his name, Marvin Pastetaster, in keeping with our bloglesshoplessness, Paste rarely posts, and Burg, the mysterious 3rd, never posts, in fact in a fit of misplaced peeve? Burg started up another collaboration and does not say anything.
    Our blog, initially called Looseliver by Paste for I dunno why get spradic name changes and we rarely actually post about anything, it's a Sienfeld episode, I hate Seinfeld, so it's not, it's My Best Fiend more like. It's a silly schoolboy in joke, no it's not, parrpppp.
    I always feel like a cheater when I talk about it, hope RB gives the OK because Sword Head is a doozy, even if I say so myself, oh and there's some poems, but the Archives don't work, Juha told me so he's been checkin' me out. Anyway Paste is My Master, I actually serve Him.

    doh! ok, i might try that then.

  • merc,

    No catch except, and this was freaky, Juha pm'd me to say the "a" was missing. I thought to myself, dude, that's obscure geek sh*t, but then he pm'd back to explain that our Archive isn't working (because we slackly refuse to upgrade our blog). So anyhoo, today I uploaded another pic at the head of teh blog (looseliver.blogspot.com) sorry RB but I'm guessing you don't read the loopy threads and I wouldn't either!
    It's not really a blog it's more my friend Paste keeping tabs on my mental state, he love's me, he's in Wellington, I'm going to see him this weekend, yahooo.

  • merc,

    I know that bastard and he's trickier than a hampster on furlough who finds a sugar sack and a ginger cat.

    People think we had a love-hate relationship. Well, I did not love him, nor did I hate him. We had mutual respect for each other, even as we both planned each other's murder.
