  • Pete Sime,

Here's an interesting look at the US system, one which the proposed legislation largely avoids.

  • Carol Stewart,

I’ll have to admit that I was somewhat on the fence about supporting cannabis law reform, but the recent review by Poulton and co swayed me towards it with their powerful argument that while there is good evidence of harms of excessive cannabis use, particularly in young people, it is best addressed as a health issue rather than a legal issue, and the current legal situation is hampering educational initiatives.

  • Joe Boden,

Russell, I'm pleased you caught the difference in tone between the two articles. The CHDS one was largely "wordsmithed" by me, and the second by Benedikt.

I could just about hear Benedikt's voice :-)

I was keen for my commentary not to come off as dismissive of what he wrote, I just wanted to give some perspective on where he was coming from.

Definitely did not seem dismissive. :)
