  • Gareth Ward,

Craig, nothing you say on Palin has any weight. You hate Christians because you’re homosexual.

    Baaaahahahaha.
Still, maybe the poor man has dysgrafia - he MEANT to say you hate homosexuals because you're Christian.

  • Craig Ranapia,

I guess that if political satire is dead, that should help the career of Flight of The Conchords and their unamerican, unpolitical satire.

We poisoned their asses. With poisonous gases.

I'd really like to see Lucy Lawless (aka. Galactica's D'Anna Biers/Number Three) do 'Robots' with Brett and Jermaine at the next Armageddon Expo. :)

Just another time-wasting question, would Lawless be eligible to vote today - considering she's married to an American citizen and, as far as I know, lives in the States?

  • JohnAmiria,

Camp fifties Batman, or goth-angsty Batman? Cause I'd really like to see the former.

You can see him 7pm weeknight on C4 as the Mayor on Family Guy:

and just to prove he's wacky, here's an outtake from the sound booth:

Sans actual results lets pass the time with some anecdotes:

This morning on Ponsy Rd I noticed someone had chalked pro-Labour slogans on the footpath. Fair enough. But then I came upon one that read:

    John Key Hates Your Mother

Weird! Can anyone fill me in on that one means?

  • Andrew E,

Craig, I hope you've got something good lined up for post #4000.

Ignore the trolls like Baiter. Not worth the expenditure of bytes on.

Hey, there's plenty of Christians I adore. The prickish, incompetent and pathologically dishonest ones - not so much. But (believe it or not) there are very few people in this world I genuinely HATE, and I'd have to take Sarah Palin much more seriously than I do before she joined that select roster.

  • Che Tibby,

Master R. Baiter is reliable as the tides:

ah... the master baiter, once again proving that irony is something your woman does to your shirts.

John Key is welcome to hate my mother. I can't stand the bitch myself -- and the disdain is entirely mutual.

  • Dinah Dunavan,

Has anyone else linked to this NPR article? If you have, sorry.

    My pick of the bunch:

In one Ohio polling place, a touch-screen voting machine would only cast ballots for independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader. According to the Columbus Dispatch, a poll worker told voters, "You can use it if you want to vote for him."

Nice to know... don't you just election coverage when there's nothing substantive to talk about. At least here we can watch the graphics have a breakdown until the first booth come in (four valid votes and an ice cream stick), and the Family Party is projected to be able to govern alone with 120 seats. :)

I loved the explanation: "we'll flip this race for the democrats, and you'll see the number go up - our viewers will be familiar with the technology."

Yes, we are familiar with the technology. It's called arithmetics.

Also on CNN, loved the ad with Anderson Cooper in the jungle, "looking for the viruses that may cause future global pandemics", as part of the Planet in Peril series. Once he's found these viruses, presumably he's going to unleash them on us.
