Martyn Pepperell linked me to this yesterday: http://soundcloud.com/estere. Couple of mighty fine tunes there.
And, cause I had a day yesterday reliving my love of Living Colour’s first bass player, Muzz Skillings, ’ere you go.

Have I posted this one previously?
We played it on our show and even if you're not a fan of the Wub Wub it's a great watch for the old school boardgame cleverness.
Also, I spoke about Max Romeo on Simon Grigg's music site Extended Play this week;

Oh, and the crowd singalong of Sierra Leone by Mt Eden Dubstep with my 16 yr old in the Boiler Room at BDO 2011 was a highlight. Didn't know anything about them but the young crowd packed into the tent sure did, it was levitating!

It's called Dunes, and there's all you need to know about living now in New Brighton and making art in the cover alone
Beautiful

Some klezmer for a Friday - the Klezmatics
And a sweeter song from them
And some crazy Finns - Alamaailman Vasarat, who sometimes manage to sound heavier than the heaviest of metal, even though they're paying cellos -
I ran out of time for Soundcloud scouring today, but I reckon this is pretty amazing:
Destiny's Child - Say My Name (Cyril Hahn Remix)
Down-pitched vocals ftw.

Here’s the new Terrorball video.

Only thing this tune is missing is the double clap:
dib - clap - dib - clap - dib - clap - dib - clap
dib - clap - dib - clap - dib - clap - dib clap clapI don't think there's a song been written that you can't drop a double clap in to - although some lend themselves to it more than others.

Hebe,
Love those LEDs' Outer Room swirls. The pictures: South Brighton,
Marine Parade, the QEII roundabout -- whoever would have thought they could look cool. And at 2.00 the fairy lights on the right are Smash Palace and the wall-less Knox Church shows up well. -

Look forward to seeing those LEDs live again sometime soon. BTW, while on Chch music, RIP Stephen McIntyre, former Chch-based musician who died recently in Auckland. He was in early 80s Flying Nun combo Ballon D'Essai and was for a time in Blair Parkes' All Fall Down.
