  • Stephen McIntyre,

Re: writing to newspapers: newspaper letter-columns require current addresses, email &/or 'phone number, your real name, and *do* check these things. If you are a fervent advocate of almost any quasi-legal/contentious position, so-determined by the almost-invariably rightwing owners of aforesaid newspaper, expect your details to be forwarded to 'other interested parties.'

I've been doing it for years vis. cannabis reform and no-one's ever knocked on my door as a result.

  • Ian Dalziel,

It's the endorphins as we know it...

It DOES feel good, doesn't it?
Even better when they print it, but half the buzz is in the writing and sending off.

    ... I should feel fine
... between peddling on my bike
and peddling views to the letters page
I should be awash in peptides...
but I feel I need something more...

I know - the pleasure of Nature!
Let's free the National Parks up
    for large scale dopamining!

    something everyone can dig...

  • Jeremy Eade,

and on stuff today this buried story from the bust. There's so many things wrong with this policing.

Obviously entrapment is a really dangerous policing tool but equally disturbing is that the story they fabricated was all about dealing with the severe pain of cancer and its effects on an elderly relative.

Shit, I'd grow dope for her if I heard that ,feeling good in the knowledge that it would almost certainly help her.

One of those arrested was New Plymouth shop assistant Reuben Wade, 25, who had been unfairly taken in by the undercover female detective who visited Guru Gardener, his counsel Paul Keegan said yesterday.

Police transcripts of the conversation between the two reveal that the officer had told Wade her mother was terminally ill with cancer and asked for help to grow cannabis plants to help alleviate her pain.

"Police have set him up," Mr Keegan said. "It was a terrible thing to go into a shop and use a story like that. It is entrapment. It's effectively harassment by the police. "They have entrapped him into having the knowledge that it will be used for cultivation. It's quite appalling."

  • Josh Helpful,

Large marijuana production is illegal in the Netherlands, but still there are many, In my opinion you can solve this by letting individuals grow more (now maximum of 5 plants) and sell some of there extra grams to friends and neighbours. If you see how much a plant produces only a couple of enthusiasts can make the large illegal, criminal growers obsolete. how much does one marijuana plant produce
