  • nzlemming,

    From that NewsHub link

A NZR spokesperson says they weren't aware Laura was prepared to speak to them and they had tried to make contact with her through the police. They said they assumed a Newshub journalist would not disclose their source.

Is it just me, or is that self contradictory? And why would they go through the police to contact her, when no formal complaint had been laid?

Hmm. John says that at the outset, and plays a recording of him questioning Tew earlier in the afternoon. I dunno.

  • Ian Dalziel,

    Strewth to 'power'...

Does Mike Hosking think only men are qualified to talk about rugby league?
You'd be forgiven for thinking that after a radio segment this morning which caused a brief walkout by Newstalk ZB newsreader Bernardine Oliver-Kerby from an otherwise all-male panel debating the future of the Warriors league franchise.
Oliver-Kerby briefly walked out of the Mike Hosking Breakfast broadcast this morning after the controversial host declared it was "man's time" as he introduced a Warriors debate.

    Full respect to Oliver Bernadine-Kerby!
What a snivelling toad Hosking is....

Could someone check his 'use-by date'?

  • Barry -,

Surely a “formal caution” is a yellow card? In a rugby game that is 10 minutes in the sin bin (or up to full time). Would the next offence be a red card and being banned for a season?
