Dubai, at night,
Palm Jumeira. I should have mentioned further back that the photo of the Hotel was at the tip of the Palm island. This is on the way back emerging from the underground tunnel that lead us to the ginormous Hotel. Not a great photo but we was going pretty fast along the freeway. Overhead is a monorail line which was still being developed but what was up and running was a beautiful design. Everything feels efficient (for the wealthy)

As I remember it the restaurant was upstairs and there were still fire engines downstairs - or at least fire station stuff.

Tips for seeing noctilucent clouds, here. And more images.
A friend living in Northern Scotland for several years said he saw them a number of times. And did he take a single photo?? No!
I'd like to see nacreous clouds even more.

Womad 1999, Aotea Square.
We seem to be in lateral thinking mode. Ernest Raglin was here in 1999. He was exceptional, from fading memory. Don’t think Sly & Robbie were there though.
Gone surfin’.
