I took a lot of sunrise photos over my last summer in Beijing. I must rescue them from the old laptop.
Wellington is proving to be reasonably dramatic.

Two photo’s of the evening sun in Dunedin, Feb 2009- the colour was created by smoke from the Australian bushfires occurring at the time. Beautiful, but poignant.

Beautiful but sort of end of times feel to seeing so much of nature’s drama.

We have seen a thousand sunrises and sunsets in a thousand places around NZ…yet this, taken while we were housebound….

I’m not big on sunrises [those who know me will know this is an understatement] but on occasion I’ll admit they’re worthwhile. An autumn dawn.
