Another glowing dahlia, and if you want to see more……..
Very nice. First time I've seen your photoblog too. You've been holding back. ;-)

Jos,
Yes I liked the blog layout and the way it can be changed to suit the viewer.

Truth be told, I've been way too busy plastering pictures all over capture to keep the blog rolling along. It's nice to have concise groups of piccies, but it's not as lively as Cap-chur : )
That Choose Yr Own layout is quite recent too.But back to summer.....
Summer is... birthday parties with lanterns

Summer this year has been dominated by dogs and beaches, for me. Were it ever thus. And as I draw to the close of my (this year, greatly shortened) summer break, I reflect on the people I have met and enjoyed over this break, old friends caught up with and wonderful times had, and most of all, my Ruby. Who is coming into her own, and is blossoming, after almost a year of intensive training - and there's a bit more to come - into the most wonderful dog.

Sorry to come in with something different. Has any one in the PA sphere owned or used a bicycle with battery power? Had a scooter but feel something slower might be all i need now.
I would appreciate feedback on this. How expensive are those batteries and how reliable is it. Thank you. -

PAS electric bike discussion from around 12 months ago - interesting contributions fron Stephanie & Ben Wilson.
1000 cycle lithium ion batteries currently priced at just under $600, with 3-5 years claimed useful life. Some bike models offer one third off your first battery replacement as part of warranty.

Thanks Joe.
My resident Electric Bike expert just left the building. He lives on Waiheke and rides all over with a little buggy behind, for either his child or the shopping, and has an LED display which he can programme messages into for tailgaters.
Swears by them. The bikes, not the tailgaters, although he probably does that too. ;-)

Does this mean you are well on the road to full recovery from your accident? Glad to hear, if that's the case.

the yikebike is kind've cool
Perhaps the one example I've witnessed in action was somehow defective, but it was an amazingly noisy little beast. Sounded like it had gearbox issues.

Yes Jackson thank you for asking, will have a checkup tomorrow and cant wait to have my hands free. So the next thing is transportation. I am in favour of going about in something quieter and slower.
