Congratulations kebabette
Nice pictures everyone
Speaking of "is that even allowed?" I seem to be on the short list twice, which could have been awkward. -
are we not Zimmer men?
Did Devo have the conveyor belts this time round?truth is Strangler than fiction...
Nice to see Charlie Burchill still going strong...
I have a vivid memory (from waaay back) of a brief conversation with him at a Virgin (or was it still RTC) preconcert promotion do - when he said, in his wonderful accent, that I "...kinda looked like his mate Hugh Cornwall" - great opening line, of course I've been a big fan ever since!ps : thanks for a great year in pictures
and for the card plug ... -
Aye, congrats to kebabette. And to everyone for the fine fotos.
I wish Elvis was coming south... :(

Hebe,
And thank you to you Jackson and Jonathon – and all the wonderful photo posters – for the inspiration to get back clicking. It’s been a great year for a creative rebirth.
Congratulation kebabette: that sky phot was amazing.
I’ll have time for buggerising with the dslr over the next month and hope to get to understand it better. Last night I think I finally understood how to peg back the overbearing autofocus; yay! -

Turns out I was there at the same time as Russell. I'm searching my footage like it's a "Where's Wally?" (rather than Blow Up). We know this because this panorama contains a bloke he tweeted about...stepping down the stairs on the right, the old guy? Yeah, well he was with the woman by the rubbish bins, with the waist length blonde hair and bikini. They were pashing out in the water at one point. I call Legend.

Wow, stunning.
At least 2 real birds. And the third? Not sure.
Looks suspiciously like a crested penguin.

Or a very large owl?
Or a cat with a truncated tail... -
Lilith __, in reply to
With the naked eye, I was sure it must be a cat. But looking at the picture, it's definitely an owl, possibly a fake one (click on the photo to enlarge). But why...
