  • Russell Brown,

Just a note for anyone who hasn't posted here before.

    1. You need to be registered to comment. Only takes a minute.

    2. 500KB to 1MB is a good size for a photo. I export from iPhoto at "High Quality" and "Large", which comes out around 1MB.

    3. Click the "Choose File" button to select a photo from your hard drive. It should upload after you've saved. If it doesn't, do it again.

    4. You can add up to three images per comment. You'll need to save them one by one, using the edit feature to get back in each time.

    Chur.

Thanks, Russell. That was one of the obvious possible causes. I was also wondering if it was something on the university network, considering my phone doesn't have the same problem, but if I can use IE on my computer, then it ain't the network. Firefox has been giving me trouble of late, but I haven't been able to find anything untoward. It is annoying that it's got into Maxthon, too, because that has been my backup browser. Now to figure out where the ad/malware is hiding and how to get rid of it. Thanks, again.

A couple of the local trees at Little Oneroa. It’s certainly been the best year for pohutukawa at Waiheke that I’ve seen in ages.

The three nephews were in town so we went with them to Kelly Tarlton's. This was taken in the carpark.

Seriously, yes. Refused to receive community deputation. Refused to receive second deputation "because they had refused the first request". Refused to hear a deputation of kaumatua. Refused to receive petition signed by over 1000 people. That is democracy Taranaki Regional Council style.

Well clearly, that's a really good reason and you should have just gone away and stopped bothering them.

    Gah.

I concur. Just did a little pohutukawa promenade down Onetangi Beach. Some fine specimens in the twilight.

    Peek pohutukawa?

PS Very nice to see you all jumping in, and a few new people as well! Cheers.

I think yours is my favourite in the thread so far. It captures how these trees have been looking.

Let's not diminish the fine, if not ruddy excellent, seasonal job done by that other rubine-remnanted Myrtle cousin - the Feijoa

Dunno about this Acca (formerly known as Feijoa} nonsense though...
