Now that I live on the coast, I see a lot of amazing waves. It’s not easy to capture a sense of their power. Sometimes I think I succeed.

Reminds me of this, David. Van Gogh must've left the sprinkler on, too. :-)

Ah noo! They move so fast, those little blighters. Like Lilith said, fast mending.

I love your sprinkler pic it's like some sort of grain bearing plants raining rice. I had a feeble version from the other week I wasn't going to post.....

Lilith, the Tunnel Beach walk when the tide is coming in can give some particularly dramatic surf.

    Dunedin gasworks museum.

Thank you for the good wishes. We discovered late last night I react rather badly to Tamadol, in a collapsing and needing an ambulance ride to the hospital kind of way. It has been a dramatic 24 hours.

Now that is dedication to your art, David. But I hope you survive the cure as well as you survived the original injury.

Crikey. Suffering for your craft. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Speaking of speedy, my little vespa suffered its own movement injury at the weekend. Rider was largely unhurt, with chunk out of knee, and a reminder that actually it IS the destination, or arriving at said, not the journey.
