Oh, please stay awake
And then we can drink some Ocean Spray

Orb.

Orb.

Wow Jackson, beautiful.

Orb.

Magic.

weary, weary, weary from this weeks unfolding political circus
in need of refreshing and re-saning
back to Silo Park

the weather sure helped, but the colours especially. soak them up

Colour flight

And the great used boats

back to Silo Park

Indeed refreshing!
Your first one's sky so lovely I had to respond in kind with double,
and here it is from the riverbank on a smoothly ebbing tide.

Your first of second triple set a pleasure to explore in the full-sized image.

respond in kind with double

must've been the cloud of the day around the country.

here's another of one of the real boats, i love the way she melts into her reflection

Good to see where your real boat reflection came from.
Instead of doubled, here returned to you an eighth, the part I especially liked!
Mine was earlier in the winter, yesterday not at all like that around here.

an eighth

yeah, special water script!

Ring o cloud and wind tree sculpture

Really avoiding doing all the things I should be doing…..

Could have been summer today

Nothing summery on this coast these last few days.
Instead, an off-road excursion a few Sundays ago to Whareongaonga –
looking broadly north up the coast, Poverty Bay and Gisborne beyond Young Nicks Head/Te Kuri a Paoa right of centre.

Brightening headland, darkening ahead as a shower sweeps in from the sea towards Poverty Bay.

1920s whare, ongaonga (= tree nettle, Urtica ferox ) to the fore,
they go together well, today as eponymously some centuries ago?

Half-valley truncated by the coast, south towards Mahia peninsula

Beautiful pictures, well caught, that coastline.

Today was so gorgeous we did west and east coasts.

Still on the west

Coastal merger – on the east

Gulls and fisher

New coastal merger. Those glass fences are useful after all.

Lots of coastal activity going on, so thought I’d revive this one.

Scenes from Muriwai beach last night. Oh, the huge manatee.

On the coast, someone's pinched time.

someone’s pinched time.

...or a camel threading needle?
(or a brutalist Pelican head shot)
:- )
