Not sure what that's all about, but we'll still be here for the next round.
Take care.

It's a tough life!

Well I wasn’t going to, but since you had a floating cat, I was trying out a new iPhone app today called ‘Levitagram’, made by a kiwi developer. This was a rough edit I admit, but remembering it was done on the phone.
It sure put the wind up old Queen Vic.
Night all.

That is so silly and funny: it reminds me of the old coot in Dad's Army and his "they don't like cold steel up them". All kinds of objects I could put on a pole (rather than a pike). A good laugh on a day when one is sorely needed: thanks.

Hebe,
Pupdate: Nina today: eight and a half days old and a bellyful of milk. Those paws with their micro-claws are 5mm across. She has a suck like a Dyson and a ferocious will to live. Winston will come later: he's not wanting prime-time yet.
Drat: should have been in Dogs thread -- perhaps it will help uplift discourse here. -

Never mind, these are autumn pups after all : )

Hi Kebabette, I have been meaning to congratulate you on your fabulously lit photos of the building facade which you posted earlier in this thread. I think it may be the same building as this one – my much less dramatic image – which is just around the corner from Alice’s… Sad state of affairs but I loved the stripped-bare nature of the construction and support work.
Autumn orange signage? Okay, only kidding! However, it was taken in Autumn - last year.

Wow. Is it really that pink?

Leigh Russell, in reply to
Indeed it is - candy pink!

You are down south yes? A frost-free spot? I have increasingly been wondering what growing conditions are like around the coast north of Dunedin; there are some fine-looking north-facing sheltered places. I like gardening and Chch is getting tiresome in many ways...or maybe it's third-year syndrome.
-
Leigh Russell, in reply to
Hi Hebe, yes, I live near Dunedin. Frost free? er, no! Beautiful certainly, and in relation to gardening it's just a matter of adjusting a little, largely in relation to the shorter hot spells of summer, so the vege growing season is different. For example, forget tomatoes unless you have a glass house - they just don't have long enough to ripen properly..
-
Hebe, in reply to
No tomatoes! That's almost a dealbreaker. We are still picking from a couple of outside plants (we cover them at night).
