Colourless autumn leaves? OK then -
    Full colour fern, inversely silver.
    Not an inverted silver fern.

  • Hebe, in reply to Jos,

Thanks for the tip: I have just snaffled a near-new Raynox DCR-250 for $60. Will have to wait for the lense to be fixed now.

  • Jos,

Wow Hebe, I've been after one, that's a great price! There have been none on Trademe for ages. :(

  • Jos, in reply to Hebe,

The shipping from the States is dear ( was going to be NZ$137 total). If you hear of another local and used let me know!

Magic. At first glance it looked like an image from an electron microscope. Today's fern up closer than you lot can get with your puny cameras, perhaps.

Ha! This is a puny camera!! Little bottom of the line - point and shoot - lumix - but it does a good job of getting up close : )

It does Nora, though it's your unerring eye that makes it sing!

    That is a stunner Simon!!!

This morning's update of autumn from my doorstep 8days later.

    Autumn light
    rain falling,
    walnut branches
    feel the weight.

The same rain is falling up the coast at Uawa/Tolaga Bay where it will be said on Hauiti marae the rain is for Parekura Horomia lying there.

  • JacksonP, in reply to Jos,

Just wandered past with really nice guy throwing the frisbee. He was happy for me to take photos, which I'll of course pass on. I'd been taking photos through the arch beforehand. Good fun.
