@Sofie - very serious young men. And Alex, I'm a bit like Lilith. I love taking photos of people but for most of them, it would require permission. However. This one's from the back, so I guess that's better, and anyway, all my nieces are much older now so not the same girls they were then. This was taken on the ferry to Waiheke, in January 2006. It was the first family holiday we took after my Dad died 6 months previously and he would have loved that we were all together. I like it mostly because none of us were feeling terribly cheery, but the girls were excited to be going away together, and so that made us feel considerably better.

Man on seat, Auckland Domain 1989.
Originally hand printed at the dodgy old Auckland University darkroom.
Thanks for the contributions Sofie and Jackie. Nice one 'other half!' ;-)
Like, like, and like. Cup runneth over.
There are some nice portraits among the work here of Australian Bruce Upton. One of my faves, the late John Webster, aka Webster The most formidable and entertaining of Sydney's Hyde Park Sunday speakers. The Wizard learned much of his craft from attending Webster's 'meetings' in his pre-NZ days.

Thanks Lilith. At one stage I thought he would jump in. I had enough trouble just balancing on the yacht. He was leaping all over the place. The mad Spaniard. { :)
