Will it be a word or phrase from the culture, like 2009's "always blow on the pie"? Or one from the news, like 2008's "credit crunch"? Or a neologism, like 2007's "Te Qaeda" and 2008 finalist "rofflenui"?
As usual, we'll discuss and debate the contenders here -- and then it'll be put to the vote.
