OGB Update

Well, all 500 places at next Thursday's Orcon Great Blend are gone -- and I barely had to remind anyone. This is, therefore, the point where I do two things.

1. Advise you to email me by clicking on the little envelope icon below to be put on a waiting list. We'll do our best to accommodate you.

2. Ask you to click that same icon to email me and let me know if your plans have changed and you now can't join us.

Otherwise, this is the run of show:

6pm: Doors open at the Civic. You'll need to be in your seat for ...

7pm: Panel discussion on 'Creativity in the Internet Age' with Sarah E.Laing, Hugh Sundae, Hayden East and Andy Pickering.

8pm: A commissioned multimedia stage work by Cut Collective and Tom Scott.

8.30pm: Party time. Logan Duff and Tom Scott will DJ in the main room and up in the Safari Room, Keegan Fepuleai will lay down some chilled beats while Karl Sheridan, director of the forthcoming New Zealand street art documentary Dregs, shows previously unseen footage of Cut Collective painting outdoors in Taupo and Auckland.

11.30pm: You don't have to go home, but you can't stay at the Civic.

Note: After the stage show, Cut Collective will also be selling works created especially for the Orcon Great Blend. Bring at least $40 in cash if you want to be in on that.

And finally: we will again be serving delicious Hallertau brews from the keg, but we're not in a position to provide food. You'll be able to duck out during the evening, but perhaps you should eat beforehand.
