"O, swear not by the Moore, the inconstant Moore,
That monthly changes in his circled orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise variable."
You expect consistency from a career politician? -
Now I just wish I knew who I could vote for next year...
Doesn't matter who you vote for, the Government always gets in...

Yup, Drawn Together is a very funny take on so many genres. The Adult Swim network in the US has quite a few little gems like that. I'm waiting to see if Robot Chicken makes it over here - funniest stop motion animation I ever did see.

Wasn't it Roseanne Barr who said " I think I'm anorexic, every time I look in the mirror I see a fat chick."

Mayors don't have any real power unless affiliated with a group that has the majority of seats on council
Why is it that we have a separate vote for mayor? Why not just elect ourselves a council, and let them pick their own leader from amongst themselves.
It seems to work OK for the Govt - otherwise we could end up with Winston for PM, but a Labour majority. -
hell yeah, Black Books, Father Ted, IT Crowd, Green Wing (BTW can anyone tell me where I can find Green Wing on DVD?).
Kath & Keeem is OK, but it doesn't have a disheveled Irishman in it.
Sense of humor test. If you can read the headline on this article without snickering, your inner 4th former has flat-lined. -
gave me a massive smile,** a massive erection**, and had me running around the club looking to score more ... which scared my wife who immediately took me home ....
You sure she rushed you home beacuse she was scared?

It is indeed ogling, but that verb has since been supplanted by the more popular term 'googling'.
Hence "Googling oiled up, overtanned beefcakes" would be a more up-to-date phrasing. -
Along with Robyn's points I'd add that even though pollies would generally be happier being seen at an opera, the stereotypical aussie voter would probably be happier with an occasional strip-club attender than an opera-goer. Maaaaaaate.

Good spotting, Brent ;-)
