  • Hard News: A revolting piece of shit,

Haven't seens Dexter so don't know the comparison. I generally dislike the video cause well, it's just disgusting and I don't want to be a part of it. And it makes up in my mind for the fact that he isn't that strong an MC.

And if I am correct I think that Robbie is a well known (possibly past) contributor to a local Hip Hop forum in which he also tried to be "provocative". I suspect he posted a clip like this to try and posit some fantastical expose on the "realities" of Hip Hop from an "industry insider"

  • Random Play: @fltfoxz. Gr8. C u 2moro,

A good way to deal with it in the past (I play bass for Anika) is stopping the show and seeing if the whole crowd can join in the conversation that the people are having. It is really annoying at times when you're playing and people are just talking and ignoring the show. But, they've paid their money and it's up to them how they spend the time at our show. It's our job to be able to handle things like that and to still deliver the best show we can to the people who really wanna be there to see it.

For us, it is mainly the more pub-like venues where there is a mix of people wanting to specifically see the show vs the regulars who take it as a given that they can be as loud as they want, when they want. Seated gigs really do draw the crowd to silence (generally), however to be honest I find that just as hard to deal with as an overly talkative crowd (shit, sounds like I'm in the wrong job!)

  • Hard News: Trams, drams and scams,

Oh my gosh, I'm just glad we all made it home finally. 6-7 hours to get home from Chch is a bit much ain't it? The fact that they couldn't locate one of our bags on the earlier portion of our mission, along with several staff members also failing to locate it, to seeing the bag come through with all our luggage in AK was a nice strange part to our day, very inline with how our journey developed. And for the blog watchers in the group, it was a very nice blip in our day to meet ya, and to be able to chat about meeting ya for the rest of our trip so thank you bro, you helped make the ordeal a lil easier!
