In other news, Bob-the-boy insists on sending you the following message (he's not shouting, he just doesn't do lower case yet).
HELLO RUSSELL FROM BOB
David, do you realise what you've done getting Bob the computer at such a young age ?
Someone showed my daughter how to use Windows Control Panel last week, I'm sitting here with a bright Pink desktop background, re-organized icons so I can't find anything and a red Dinosaur as my mouse pointer.....

@tim kong
Correct me if I'm wrong but the student led conferences that DHC took offense at are nothing to do with National Standards ?
They appear to have been widely adopted after the Assess to Learn (Atol) Professional Development Programme for teachers ?

Apparently the Restaurant was asked to make up a new receipt not "make up" a new receipt.

Easy mistake to make really, especially if it was a phone conversation those inverted commas are difficult to spot. -
Was the Video player VHS or BETA ?

Personally The Aucklander lost all credibility with me when it suggested that the 130+ year old Ponsonby Rugby Club would be forced to change it's name under the Super City to "Maungawhau-Hauraki RFC".

Are you navigating to ondemand via the browser, or using the icon on the XMB? I'm wondering if there's a difference.
I'm using the XMB, I'll try the Browser and see if it's any diff.
At one stage it actually appeared to display the basic TVNZ site within the browser before it hung.
It appears to not close the browser sessions properly or be getting mixed up between sessions opened using the XMB and the actual browser option.
The also doesn't appear to me any noticeable diff betwen the High/Low res options on my 40" Bravia.
I also don't know why you have to select the TVNZ on Demand icon from the XMB, then press the controller X before it starts up.
I'm not sure it's a bandwidth problem because it looks OK when viewed from my PC through browser.
They need to be careful with this user experience stuff, some people will only give it one chance and they need to get it right first time.
Others appear to be having similar issues although it's not 100% across the board

Has anyone else had a go using at the PS3/TVNZ on Demand ?
I'm finding the intetrface extremely frustrating, they really don't seem to have got the browser integration working properly, it doesn't seem ready for primetime.
- repeatedly locking up for no apparent reason
- slow, low quality even when I clik the *High Quality* button
- can't seem to get rid of the menu bar across the bottom
- last night the ads would play but the actual show chapters wouldn't play, repeatedly looking at Sereposis' teeth is a bit annoyingI'm just about ready to give up on it.
