Apple has bought software that allows one to use a PC as a print server. The problem, obviously, is that Apple thinks we are still in teh 80s. Soon, there will be software which allows you to receive faxes on your Mac. Next, will come NeXT.

It is British medical slang, for when a group of doctors oppose some change in hospital policy by saying that it will result in the deaths of patients.

It makes me think of an Etch A Sketch.

I like those huge poster ads which both sides (sorry, channels) run, showing their journalists doing terribly important news stories. They are almost like real life.

Thanks Paul
I am happy to oblige.
If only I could monetise my ability to find stuff on Internet.

The Sensible Sentencing Group Trust is a Registered Charity, number 1188021
If you want, you can go to the Companies Office website and search for the incorporation, under Other Registers.
The Trust is worried it might lose its status, because it does not really have charitable purposes, but is an advocacy organisation.

.. I had to ask 'Hey John, where did the politics go? You know, the stuff you were actually pretty good at?'
I ask him much the same, and yet he never replies.
I gave up on Campbell Live a long while back. It is painful to watch someone who is clever, well-informed and has a good track record having to do idiotic stories. When it started, the show was supposed to be about news stories, but now you would learn more from those Simpsons repeats.
I was quite amused, in a sardonic sort of way, by the cut for the topless beach story. It is as if the editor thought it necessary to show the same shot of the topless woman every few seconds, in case the audience had forgotten what the state of toplessness involves.
The sudden appearance of the woman from Famiy First made me think of Goths in Hot Weather

Giovanni, I am not going to bother, other than to note you have an unique talent for misrepresenting the views of others and an over-sensitivity to this particular issue. And your claim that I think Sci-Fi is for "teh stupid" is ridiculous and offensive.
Please be assured that whenever you leap into such a discussion in future, I shall leave. Ta-ra.

And where was he when Aorangi School was closed?
He was probably rescuing beached whales or laying his healing hands upon lepers.
