On rainy days, his preferred method of entertainment was to have me swing him in circles by his heels, and then flip him yelling into the air, so that he somersaulted once (or preferably twice) before crashing onto the settee. He would happily partake of this activity for hours.
So this is where that horrible ALAC advert came from.

I think it's a subtle marketing angle to help Smurfs 2, which clearly needs all the indie help it can get to rake in half a billion dollars.

Speaking of 15 year old bedroom producers in Dunedin, my son put his first effort up on soundcloud over the weekend:

When you sit, my guess, again from personal experience, you relax and slouch
Or possibly, sit in a tense, upright position.
I used to have moderate OOS problems, which largely got better when I changed to a funny keyboard and started slouching on my chair under medical advice. Relaxed muscles. Never ever had a problem using my laptop while sitting on my couch, despite being at a 'terrible' angle.

I wonder what we did that makes us more “ally” than the Germans?
Not invade Poland :)

I am not sure what the whole fuss about Lorde is all about. She is a talented teen, no more.
If Justin Bieber can be selling his bazillionth whatever based on looking cute, I'm happy with Lorde doing well based on been a talented teen. Particularly that freakin talented - nice to see that being rewarded.
I suspect her music producer has been well chosen, he's using her talent and voice well.

Here is tonight’s game. The guys did well.
That's two of my officials working the lines.
Poor Vince though. Chased after one period on Saturday (that five minutes must have been something!) and then Sunday not dressed and looking after Terry and his concussion.

I went off the idea; really need a practical lesson because it would be great to be able to batch-cook chickpeas and beans then freeze meal-size lots.
From when I used to own a pressure cooker, it takes about 30 minutes to pressure cook chickpeas to hummus-ready condition, compared to close to 90 minutes in a pot.
