Danyl Mclauchlan has a go at National too...
With Bridges, C0llins, Bennett et al branding these evicted tenants as 'meth crooks' it might be time to look at the upper echelon of society and the 'meth crooks' there as well.
Many probably vote National.Phillip: “One day I was walking along K’ Rd to an important meeting. My belt broke, I’d put so many notches in it because I’d lost so much weight. It just fell apart. I had not a cent on me so I had to go home and grab a tie, and tie it around my trousers. And then I went to this meeting, which was literally for a multimillion-dollar contract that I was negotiating.

For your diversion and delectation may i direct you to this fine piece of character driven dissertation. In the murky depths of history ....conjecture lurks
What is the true history of New Zealand?
What mysteries await?
What does the truth have to do with anything?
After all ....people will have their way
Characters will have their say.....Peter Tait is simply brilliant...

I'd just like to offer my congratulations to Jackie Clark for being the Supreme Winner of the 2018 Women of Influence awards.
Good to see good work recognised.

The Met police have cancelled all leave around the end of March next year, as they anticipate severe civil unrest (potential food riots, basically). ….
So. I’m quietly laying in extra tins, batteries, candles, and so on, because nothing that’s happened so far fills me with any confidence that this isn’t suddenly going to lurch sideways. The new Parliamentary dietary directive?:

There were at least three Ian Dalziel’s in Chchch – one died recently I hear, as a friend went to the funeral, and it was well underway before he realised it wasn’t me…
I assume we all thought we were ’the actual Ian Dalziel’
- I am still riddled with imposter syndrome, though.
I like the idea of some meta culture monster –
"It came from the liner notes,
a titanic and increditable terror,
– ID-2D!!"
(in 3D in some arenas)– there’s at least a Sapphire and Steel episode in it….
;- )PS ’you lot’ indeed!

My roadieing days were 35-40 years ago now.
Ditto.
I remember being shocked by Aussie road crews who actively disliked the band they were crewing for – it was just work!
Getting paid was quite a concept though …
Especially after, say, packing The Hitmen in and out, up & down the back stairs of the Blacktown Leagues Club, for the pleasure of a support gig!
There are a lot of dues ya have to pay in that industry…
